Great that-will-teach-you-not-to-surprise-Harry. Excellent. And I always love it when Moody gives Harry a 'well done' for being constantly vigilant.

So many fic writers have Harry and Ginny, or Harry and whoever, realizing in one moment they are IN LOVE and declaring undying devotion or something like that.

I your fic I like that they kiss and then he asks her to go steady. Then they discuss the problems of dating, Harry style. Very realistically teenager-ish.

Ah, the wonders of re-writing...the first posted version of this eight months ago or so was more of a 'kiss and we are in love'. It is amazing what a couple of sentenses can do.

Awesome chapter. Loved the kissing scene. I'm surprised Dumbledore didn't think Harry would react the way he did. I look forward to more.
